Rowdy wild monkeys climb all over woman to steal lotus seeds as she feeds them
Rowdy wild monkeys climbed all over a woman to steal lotus seeds as she fed them.
The primates were being handed snacks by locals who had just visited a temple in Lopburi province, Thailand on May 22.
But the creatures seeing that the plastic bag only held limited food, they raced to take their share.
Footage shows the macaques jumping up to climb on the woman's shoulders, face, and head as they take the lotus seeds from her.
The woman's friend Khun Tong said: ‘We bought the lotus seeds from a nearby stall to feed the monkeys. A vendor told us to film before feeding, and we didn't anticipate that it would happen.'
The monkeys took all the food, leaving the woman with an empty plastic bag, although she wasn't hurt.
