An amusing pet Samoyed dog tried and failed to keep his fluffy fur dry during a rainy evening.
Footage shows the pooch carefully walking around a pond - before giving up when he was only about two steps away from reaching his owner in Sichuan province, China, on August 11.
The animal jumped into the pool and played with the water, wetting his thick fur.
A Samoyed dog is a medium-sized, white-coated breed of dog that originated in Siberia. They are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, as well as their thick, double coats that help them to withstand cold weather.
