This is the heartwarming moment a 69-year-old welled up with tears as she walked down the aisle to marry her toyboy groom - 39 years her junior.

Footage shows the emotional Pacita Castro in her white gown as she shuffled along the red carpet of an old Catholic building in Cebu province, the Philippines, on July 29.

Pacita paused in between steps and took deep breaths before reaching the spot where her family stood before giving one of them a kiss.

She married her much younger partner of three years Riwendo, 30, whom Pacita said she first met on Facebook, before becoming online friends during the pandemic.

She said: ‘We found each other online. I was annoyed at him at first until I fell for him.

‘He asked me to meet up, and Riwendo told me he wanted to see me in person for only five minutes. And then that's it. I fell in love.'
