Grooms Pre-wedding Surprise to Bride!!

My dad was my hero, my everything, and when he passed away unexpectedly 12 years ago my life would never be the same. And the big elephant in the room was "who will walk you down the aisle?" I confided only to my fiancé the only person I could image walking me down to give me away was my dads best friend Chris Roose. The Roose family lived across the street from us growing up and Chris and my Dad were quite the pair. I still love to hear the stories of their shenanigans, golf stories, and memories. Our families friendship stayed strong thru all their cross country moves. The Roose's eventually landed in Florida. Due to unforeseen circumstances the Roose family wouldn't be able to attend our wedding. When Garrett heard they couldn't make it he got a hold of Chris and told Chris I had planned to ask him to walk me down the aisle on our wedding day and asked what it would take to get Chris to MN because Garrett didn't want me to walk alone and knew that Chris is the only person who could ever come close to filling that spot for me. Garrett got a plane ticket, the suit, hotel room and had it all planned out to surprise me with the most thoughtful and meaningful gift!
