A woman was knocked down by a rampaging shutter door amid southern China storm chaos.

Terrifying video filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on April 29, shows a woman being knocked to the ground by a runaway rolling shutter door.

Fortunately, she escaped major injury and quickly scrambled to her feet, abandoning her luggage in a frantic bid for safety.

The Hunan Provincial Meteorological Observatory had issued a yellow warning for strong convective weather early on the morning of the 29th.

It was predicted that from 8:00 am on the 29th until 8:00 am on the 30th, areas including the southern part of Changsha City would experience thunderstorms with winds reaching force 10-12 or even hail.
