Torrential rainfall leaked into a train station through the roof in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on April 29, shows heavy rainfall leaking into the waiting hall of Changsha South Railway Station, resembling a "water curtain cave," prompting passengers to seek shelter.

Following the incident, officials from Changsha South Railway Station responded, stating that around 13:10 on April 29th, a sudden heavy rain hit the Changsha area, resulting in the instantaneous overflow of rainwater from the drainage pipes of the waiting hall's ceiling, flooding Area B, Zone 10 of the waiting area.

The station promptly mobilised professional technicians for emergency repairs. By 13:40, the emergency repairs were completed. The station apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers during the wait.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
