Dramatic footage, filmed on Tuesday, of a brush fire in Hollywood, California, USA.

The video was filmed from Mulholland Drive by someone who jumped out of their car to catch the blaze on camera.

More than 200 firefighters were called out to tackle the fire which started on Tuesday afternoon and, at its peak, covered around 700m of brushland.

Captured from Mulholland Drive - saw this fire from a scenic overlook and immediately jumped out of the car to film this video - we were the first viewers on scene. By an hour later there were 50-100 people pulled over to view. Videos 2 and 3 (also on Youtube) capture the later stages of the fire plus water drops from various helicopters as they fly by rhe Hollywood sign and retrieve water from the Hollywood Reservoir.
