Arms & Ammunition Recovered by Indian Security Forces from Militants

Indian Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from the site of encounter from Militants. Indian Security forces have killed seven Militants during three counter-insurgency operations in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district of Jammu & Kashmir India. The first operation was launched at Warnow village in Lolab area Thursday morning after army and police received information about the presence of heavily armed militants in the village. In the ensuing encounter three Militants were killed.
Hours after Lolab encounter, gun battle started at Drugmulla near Kupwara town. After five-hour encounter, three more militants were killed. Indian Army says one Militant was killed in an operation that is underway in Wader forest area of Rajwar. However, the Indian security forces and police have launched a series of successful anti-Militancy operations and have been killed several Militants in recent gun battles in north Kashmir, India.
