Pilot escapes from light aircraft as it catches fire in Brazil
This is the dramatic moment fire ripped through a light aircraft in Brazil.
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk registered PR-NEI had just taken off when its control panel caught fire over the Para de Minas Airport in Minas Gerais state, on January 25.
Footage shows the smoke drifting out of the plane cabin after it made an emergency landing on the runway. Another clip shows the aircraft completely engulfed in flames.
Local media reported that the Cessna was operated by a local aviation school. Both pilots were safe, but the plane was destroyed.
