Touching footage from the Newsflare archive of a baby seeing his mum clearly for the first time after getting a pair of glasses.

The video, filmed near Seattle in Washington in 2016, shows baby Leopold, who has a rare disorder called Oculocutaneous Albinism which affects his vision, trying on his new pair of glasses and appearing to smile when he sees his mum.

The filmer later wrote online: "Our son Leopold was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder called Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA).

"This affects the coloring of his skin, hair, and eyes and leaves him with extremely impaired vision."

"But today he received his glasses, and can now see the world clearly for the very first time," she continued.
