Black bear pokes its head through window to ask for food
This is the scary moment a black bear poked its head through a window to ask for food.
Resident Kroekkrai Trakanthai spotted the bear looking inside his home from the window in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on April 39.
Footage shows the animal sniffing and inspecting around the house outside. Moments later, it then retreated and moved on its way.
Kroekkrai said: 'I am glad it didn't try to enter.'
The Asian black bear has rough fur that is predominantly black or brown throughout its body, except for its chest, which features a distinct V-shaped patch of light yellow colour. The bear has longer fur on its shoulders and neck region.
Asian black bears have large ears and can walk fully on their feet, with their footprints smaller than an average human's.
They are categorised as protected wild animals under the Wild Animal Conservation and Protection Act of Thailand.
