A nice video of a US Marine surprising his dad in a restaurant after serving abroad for 14 months.

The heartwarming footage, filmed in Austin, Texas last month, shows Corporal Cory Harris turning up Jack Allen's Restaurant wearing a waiter's uniform which staff agreed to lend him, so he could sneak up on his dad.

According to the filmer, the marine had a short speech prepared but barely got a word out before his dad recognised him and dived quickly around the table to give him a massive hug.

Corporal Harris had spent the previous fourteen months on duty in Japan.

Corporal Cory Harris wanted to surprise his Dad after 14 months being deployed to Japan. Jack Allen's in Austin, TX were delighted to give him a uniform so he could pretend to be his waiter, he had a short speech ready but only managed to get out one word before Greg recognized him and shot around the table for the best hug ever!
