An amusing video has emerged from China of food stall staff dressing up as the Monkey King and Pigsy from the famous Chinese novel Journey to the West to attract customers.

In the footage, filmed in Huaian, Jiangsu Province on Tuesday, a man dressed up as the Monkey King is roasting meat and another man dressed up as Pigsy is holding an advertising board in his hands.

This is happening while all the staff in barbecue stall are dancing wildly to trance music, while one of the chefs MCs.

According to local reports, the food stall made some money out of stunt, making more than £3,000 GBP.
