Delivery rider attacked by two men in road rage incident in China
This is the shocking moment a delivery boy on a scooter was attacked by a car passenger in a road rafe dispute before the driver pushed the boy to the ground before they sped off.
CCTV footage shows the incident unfolding by the roadside in Tieling, in Liaoning Province, north-eastern China on the morning of October 23.
Moments earlier, the delivery rider reportedly collided with the black Audi SUV seen in the video. The rider, who was not named, reportedly began arguing with an older man who rode in the back seat.
As the delivery boy was about to leave, the visibly agitated passenger reached out of the open window and grabbed him. Shockingly, he then punched the delivery boy in the head, causing him to fall backwards onto the scooter.
Following this, the female driver of the Audi stepped outside and pushed the boy and his scooter to the ground to get him off her car before driving away.
Emergency services later reportedly arrived at the scene and tended to the rider, who did not suffer serious injuries and is reported to be in stable condition.
Police were later able to track down the driver and the passenger. They reportedly agreed to pay compensation to the victim, who is currently also seeing a mental health expert.
