This is the heartstopping moment a schoolgirl tumbled from her bike but clung onto a concrete ledge like a stuntman.

The youngster named Alice, 5, was playing with her sister when she lost her balance and fell into the gap between the elevated ramps used to wash car undercarriages in Rayong province, Thailand, on July 31.

Footage shows how the child narrowly missed hitting her head and clung to the edge of the concrete like in an action movie. She then balanced her feet on her fallen bicycle's back wheel.

Workers in the area came to Alice's aid when they heard her cries for help.

Onlooker Patchara Sangwattana said: 'The girls like to play there even though they were already warned not to. On the day of the accident, the people were busy working when they heard the commotion. They found her hanging off the area where mechanics wash cars.

'After the incident, she no longer goes there to play. She is afraid of being scolded again.'

Alice emerged from the incident with only minor injuries, Patchara added.
