Police officers detain a woman who barged into a mansion in Stamford, Connecticut, causing a disturbance. The incident occurred on July 12, 2023, at a property valued at USD 5.5 million.

After a six-hour negotiation, officers safely apprehended the woman, who had climbed onto the roof of the three-story building. The police's Hostage Negotiation Team, Behavioral Health Unit, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Service collaborated to bring this perilous situation to a successful conclusion without injuries. The woman was taken into custody and transported to Stamford Hospital ER for evaluation.

Mayor Caroline Simmons praised the first responders for their professionalism and dedication. The reason for the woman's actions remains under investigation.
