A group of tourists were left hanging upside-down on a roller coaster after a power outage caused chaos at a theme park in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province.

Footage captured on June 6 shows the roller coaster car at Nandaihe International Entertainment Center stationary, leaving the riders dangling upside-down.

A member of staff from Qinhuangdao City Culture and Tourism Bureau stated the roller coaster suffered a power outage. The backup power supply was activated and the equipment was able to resume.

The 11 tourists on the roller coaster car were all able to exit the ride safely.
