This is the heartwarming moment a bedridden husband, 94, surprised his wife, 84, with a slow dance for her birthday.

Marcelo Baybayan has been bedridden with old age but wanted to celebrate his partner of almost 63 years Imelda's birthday in Pangasinan province, the Philippinesm, on May 15.

Despite having difficulties moving, Marcelo or Andong to loved ones dressed up with the helo of their children and asked the old woman to have a dance like they used to when they were younger.

Footage shows the elderly love birds slow dancing. The old man was assisted by their children and watlzed with his wife for more than a minute before seating back in the wheelchair.

The couple's touched granddaughter Alyssa Mae Cabanlit said: ‘Lolo Andong can't walk anymore but he did his best to make my Lola Imelda's birthday extra special. They are my inspiration.'

The couple have five children and 12 grandchildren who shared the celebration with them.

Alyssa Mae added: ‘They will celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary this June. I believe in true love because of them.'
