Distracted motorcycle rider slams into back of car while using his phone
A distracted motorcycle rider slammed into the back of a car while he was using his phone.
Dashcam footage shows the man on a red scooter repeatedly glancing down at the handset in his left hand, while he used the other arm to steer.
He began accelerating before bumping the rear bumper of the vehicle in Phuket, Thailand on April 24.
Videos of the incident shows he appeared to have been trying to make a turn with his right signal lights on but failed to keep his focus on the car ahead of him.
The rider almost fell from the red two-wheeler and left looking embarrassed - turning round and leaving the scene without stopping.
Shocked driver Sirikwan Saetong said: ‘The rider escaped after that. He should be more alert whenever he is on the road.
'Fortunately there was no major damage to my car. I just want to show people to be more careful while they are riding motorcycles.'
