At least 26 people have died and hundreds have been displaced after tornadoes swept through parts of Mississippi and Alabama, US, on March 24.

The powerful storm system delivered twisters, heavy rain, wind gusts, and hail throughout the South, causing significant damage.

The footage shows the extent of the damage caused by the tornado in Rolling Fork.

US Governor Tate Reeves said that more extreme weather is on the way.
"If you are south of I-55 in Mississippi today there are significant risks. We are prepared", Reeves explained during a news conference.
