A 70-year-old dived into a canal and swam 2km to save a drowning cow in Tohana, Haryana.

Footage from March 16 shows the elderly man named Kulwant Singh swimming alongside the bovine trying to keep it afloat.

With the help of several others, Singh was able to tie a rope around the cow.

A group of men were then able to drag the cow out of the canal to safety.

This 70 year old man showing exemplary bravery along with the help of his team members saved a cow which fell into a canal water .
Around 1 pm in afternoon they got to know about a cow fallen into this canal , after reaching the spot 70 year old kulwant singh jumped into water a tried to catch the floating cow , he along with another man can be seen trying to catch the cow , but due to the heavy flow of water it took them 2 km swin to catch and tie the cow with rope , after 3 hours of efforts the cow was finnally rescued and pulled out of the canal
