The groom to Kayley Stead left her on the day of their wedding but that did not stop what was promised to be a beautiful day, as the bride partied with her closest friends and family.

Despite going through intense heartbreak on the morning of the wedding day, on September 15 in Swansea, Wales, Kayley went on to enjoy the £12,000 that was put into the wedding.

The supposed groom, Kallum Norton, spoke to Kayley on the evening before the wedding but then he left without a trace and communication was made just an hour before the wedding when his father said that Kallum was some four hours away from the venue.

Kayley endured a very difficult morning but was brave enough to go ahead with the festivities by kicking off with an entrance to remember with her bridal party and close family to the tune of Lizzo's 'Good as Hell' and punched the top tier of the cake off.

The good times rolled with speeches, the meal, dancing, the professional photography and more just minus the missing groom.

Kayley said: "I did a grand entrance to Lizzo's Good as hell with the groomsmen (who had stayed) and bridesmaids.

"Then my maids of honour and I gave speeches to the guests. I thanked them for staying and the girls talked about their love for me.

"I cut my wedding cake with my bridesmaids and then I punched off the top tier of the cake.

"I was completely out of my comfort zone because I was with loads of people at my most vulnerable.

"I can say with my head held high that I fought through my pain and had one amazing day that my loved ones and I will never forget."
