Father And Daughter Finally Reunited After Seven Months Apart
Uploaded by a Newsflare content partner
This heartwarming video captures the moment this father and his daughter were reunited after spending seven months apart.
Fitness instructor Leah Boyd, 40, decided to surprise her three-year-old daughter Saylor with her dad, after he was granted leave to welcome baby number four after seven months away.
Leah surprised Saylor with an ice-cream while out for the day in Savannah, Georgia and as she was happily enjoying it, Leah revealed the tasty treat wasn’t her actual surprise.
When asking ‘what is it’, Saylor’s dad came sneaking up behind her before crouching and waiting for her to notice.
After a few short moments her dad asked for some of her ice-cream and a confused Saylor turned around to him in pure shock and was overjoyed to see him.
Leah said: “Saylor thought her surprise that day was her ice cream as we didn’t tell her daddy was coming home because we didn’t know for sure.
“However, all the cards played out right and he made it home from the deployment just in time!
“We’ve had a lot of love and appreciation for the video since, which has been amazing.”
