This adorable pet dog enjoys riding with his owner on a motorcycle as they go on trips in Thailand.

The loyal five-year-old male pooch named Tung-Ngern expertly balanced itself on the two-wheeler's pillion while owner Naret Kruewan, 61, drove into Samut Songkhram province to run some errands on November 30.

Naret said his pet was quite fond of motorcycle rides and would often run to hop onto the vehicle as soon as he hears it roaring in the driveway.

While Naret takes care of his business in the city, Tung-Ngern would sit patiently on the bike, guarding it as he waits for his master to return.

The pet owner said: 'Tung-Ngern is a stray dog I adopted. He came from the woods on the side of the road while I was out driving in the Ban Phaeo District of Samut Sakhon province.

'I felt pity for him so I brought him back home and took care of him. He likes to stand on the pillion while we travel together.

'He isn't afraid of falling. Whether we're driving on a straight or curved road, he will keep his balance. But when he does become frightened, he would sit down.'

Naret added that Tung-Ngern used to be aggressive, but has mellowed out under his care and training, now even capable of understanding around 30 commands.

The canine currently serves as the family's guard dog, standing watch at night and barking at anyone who isn't a resident of the house.

Naret said: 'It is very reassuring to have Tung-Ngern with us. It's like having a bodyguard all the time.'
