Kickboxer Srithongkham, 17, started the sport when she was only 14 as a workout routine.
The health-conscious youngster put on the gloves for a practice match which she said she enjoyed so much and decided to take more classes.
She said: ‘I started boxing when I was just 14 years old. I didn't think anything. I thought I only wanted to exercise. When I tried fighting in my first match, I found that I liked it, so I continued.'
Her first match was with a boxing gym teacher who encouraged her to pursue her talents, so she trained to enter professional matches.
She said: ‘I boxed as a professional for a TV show that allows people to come in and watch. When I first started, it was with a boxing gym teacher.
‘That gym was in a public park so I went and took classes and they taught me.
‘I practised for two months and went for my first fight. If it was for a match I fight with women but if it's for practice, I do it with men.'
The proud boxer said she still enjoyed girly things, coming to matches on fresh look makeup, which made her matches more fun and achievements more memorable.
She said: ‘I received awards and certificates, and in the future, I'm not quite sure yet whether I'll make this my main occupation.
‘Women, when we grow up our body is weak and the appearance will have to be soft. I still enjoy girly things. Right now boxing is my main job and my life's goal is to participate in the national championship.'
