Five pet dogs rush to save boy floating in a flooded ditch
This is the adorable moment five pet dogs rushed to save a boy who looked like he was drowning while he floated in flooded ditch.
The pooches were running along a water-logged paddy field with their owners when the boy stumbled on the grass in Si Sa Ket province, Thailand on July 13. He lied down in the water so it appeared that he was stuck and struggling.
Thinking that the boy might have been hurt, the dogs scrambled towards the lad and pulled him up from the deluge.
Footage shows the pet dogs dragging the boy by his shirt towards higher ground.
The boy's sister Nack Pornsawan said: 'They were so cute trying to save my brother. They thought he was hurt and in need of help but he was really enjoying it.'
Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are in the middle of their tropical monsoon rainy season, which lasts until October or November.
