Occupy Protests in London

Tourists looked on as protesters form the occupy movement took to the streets streets of London around midday on Saturday.

About 300 protesters gathered at St Pauls and then went on a march around London, so called the 'visiting the 1% march' passing by the offices of some of the worlds largest financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, RBS and Santander. The march ended outside the Bank of England where some of the protesters attempted to set up camp.

There was a strong police presence, several skirmishes were reported but on the whole the crowd appeared to be well behaved.
