'Most festive fight ever': Brawl breaks out at UK train station with alleged combatant in Christmas sweater
This was dubbed the "most festive fight ever" as a brawl broke out in Warwickshire, England on December 11, leaving this UK couple scampering out of the way after recording the incident.
"I had to record it to show my friends. I found it funny whereas my girlfriend Sophie hates confrontation so insisted we left before we got caught in it!" said Tom Powell, who was out with his girlfriend Sophie at the time.
The combatants appeared drunk, according to Powell, one of whom was donning a Christmas sweater, got into a shouting match and tussle at approximately 9:30 pm
"We had spent the day in Birmingham German Market and just as we got off the train we noticed the fight break out, we are unsure of the exact reason however it wasn't difficult to see people were angry and frustrated and everyone was rushing onto an already packed train. People were being pushed out the way," Powell tells Newsflare.
"There were around 20 people involved In the fight with around 50 more people watching and shouting. The majority of people were drunk. Innocent spectators including women were being pushed onto the floor. The security guards intervened however there were too many to control."
