At around 3 pm, the Mount Carmel Township fire department was alerted to a tri-axle rollover near Atlas, Pennsylvania on September 30 where a massive garbage truck had flipped over, with the driver unharmed.

Just after 1500hrs Mount Carmel Township fire department was alerted to a Tri-axel roll over near the 11638 PA-61, Atlas, Mt Carmel Township, Pa. Command quickly arrived and confirmed one garbage truck rolled over with the driver out of the vehicle. Arriving units contained leaking fluids until Aurand’s Towing arrived and pulled the truck upright. Once the garbage truck was back on its wheels Aurand’s used their one vehicle to clean up some debris and then the fire departments washed down the road.
