Moises Martinez reunited with his fiancé after not seeing her for 1.5 years due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.

"My fiancé, Genesis, and I have been together for six and a half years," Moses revealed. "She lives in Toronto and I’m from New York City. Over the last year and a half, we couldn't visit each other because Canada closed their borders and had strict guidelines regardless of vaccination status."

Once the travel restrictions were lifted, the groom-to-be decided to fly to Canada and surprise his partner on her bridal shower that took place on August 15.

Genesis' reaction to seeing Moises after such a long time was too beautiful to be described in words.

The filmer added: "We had to postpone our wedding two times due to the pandemic. We are finally going to get married next month [September 2021]. This video is to show that despite missing out on life events and having to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have weathered through it. Love knows no borders."
