'This is the crushing moment Michael Turner found out that bike riding comes with its fair share of risks.

Recorded on the filmer's helmet camera, this video features him getting launched from his bike while riding across a trail, resulting in serious injuries.

Michael said: "I was mountain biking when I lost my balance, causing me to go up in the air and get slammed to the ground. I got 1 fractured and 3 broken ribs, a bruised kidney, dislocated shoulder, swollen spine, bruised and swollen elbow, and hematoma on the side of the head."

He added: "I spent 1.5 days in the hospital and am currently going through the healing process."

This disastrous fail was filmed on May 31, 2021.
