The police officials gave masks made from Butea leaves to the face-mask violators in central India's Madhya Pradesh on June 3. The incident took place in the Niwari district.

Visuals feature the police officials halting the face-mask violators at a checkpoint. They stop the locals and ask them the reason for not wearing a mask. Following this, they provide them with masks made from Butea leaves. Later, the violators wear green masks and drive away.

The locals in the region have been violating face-mask norms despite the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic worsening the situation in the area. In the face of that, the local police decided to distribute Butea leaf masks to the violators to spread awareness regarding the Covid-19 guidelines in the region.
