A heroic man rescued a 2-month-old infant that fell onto a train track in central China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province on May 30, shows commuters asking help from the train staff as an infant fell onto the track.

A female train worker then ran to make sure the train would not depart.

A man in a white shirt went down the narrow gap between the train and the platform and carried the baby up to hand it over to the train staff.

According to reports, the baby flew out of a stroller and fell onto the train tracks due to inertia after the stroller got stuck in the gap between the train and the platform.

The 30-year-old man named Li Junjie said he is a father as well and he just wanted to save the child when he saw it was in danger.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
