Dramatic footage of a burning car in Llandudno, Wales, UK following a bank raid.

According to local reports the alleged robbers were seen 'smashing their way into the Nationwide building society branch' last night and it remains unclear what, if anything, was stolen.

Police say they were called to the scene at 7:46pm while the burning car was seen in the vicinity of the robbery shortly afterwards - with firefighters visible in the background. Officers have appealed for information regarding any sightings of "vehicles in the area". It's currently unconfirmed whether the two incidents are related.

Explosive popping sounds can be heard coming from the car as firefighters try and tackle the fire. Two bystanders are heard saying "how are the brake lights still on?" and the other responding "well it is an Audi" and remarking on the bravery of the fire crew.
