Phone playing music explodes in passenger's pocket on Chinese bus
A phone exploded in a passenger's pocket while playing music on a bus in southern China.
CCTV video, shot in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on May 24, shows smoke suddenly appearing from a man's pocket then him taking his phone out to throw it on the bus floor.
The phone was then seen bursting into flames with smoke coming out of it.
According to reports, the man was listening to music from his phone in his pocket when the incident happened.
Fortunately, he was not injured. The phone was taken to the manufacturer for investigation.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
