A cool video has emerged earlier this month of climbers spotting base jumpers jumping off Half Dome in Yosemite Park, CA, USA.

Brian Santilena and Jim Redo were climbing the face of Half Dome in Yosemite Park to raise money for the Wounded Warriors association when at sunrise they accidentally witnessed two base jumpers diving from the 4700 feet high rock formation.

The impressive fall caught mid-air by the hikers is a federal offence and the jumpers could face prosecutions.

Brian told TV show Right This Minute “At first we thought that someone had just jumped off. We thought it was the end for them and within a second it looked like a squirrel flying at us until they flattened out.”
