Footage has emerged of a landslide hitting southern China's Chongqing city, blocking a road.

The video, shot on October 8, shows part of a hillside covered in trees suddenly giving way and tumbling into a river, sending a plume of dust into the air.

According to reports, three geological team members stopped two passersby and a minibus with six people on it one minute before the landslide happened.

In total, 102 people were evacuated and no one was injured.
