Shocking footage has emerged of a galloping horse colliding with a car in Romania.

The video, filmed on the Transfăgărășan road on May 6, shows the horrible moment the vehicle hits the animal as it runs along the road with another horse.

The horse gets up and appears to limp away from the accident, but it's not known if it survived.

The car was also badly damaged.
